Meet Our Staff

Cindy Laliwala

(Studio owner, ceramics and art instructor)

My love for art began at a very early age, and I pursued it by attending Parson’s School of Design in NYC. I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts

I’ve worked at the Art Directors Club as gallery help, Oxford University Press designing children’s books, then moved onto designing maps with a creative twist and then onto package design for Bristol Myers Squibb and Unliver.

I currently live In Pennington with my husband and 3 children. I’ve taught art enrichment at the local HVRSD elementary schools. I currently work with adults with disabilities and teach art and ceramics at the studio. I am currently the summer ceramics instructor for The Pennington School.

I have dedicated the last 15 years teaching art to both adults and children.

Christina Johnson

(Ceramics Instructor)

Christina Johnson received her BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah Georgia. She has always been a visual artist, at a young age she learned how to work with fiber arts, explored photography, painting and just about any art form she could try. For nearly 20 years she worked as a professional graphic designer in advertising and marketing but stepped away from the corporate world. Looking for a new avenue to flex her creative mind she came into ceramics and fell immediately in love. Christina thrives on exploring and pushing the boundaries of her skills with clay and the wheel, always excited to learn. She also has a keen interest and likes to explore different finishing techniques including using underglaze transfers, carving, manipulating of thrown material and closed forms.

Rebecca Graham

(Ceramics Instructor)

Rebecca Graham earned her BFA from Sonoma State University, California, where she received technical training in studio ceramics.  She has been a studio manager and teacher of all ages for over 25 years.  In 2010, she moved to the small, isolated community of Gamboa, Panama with her family, where she continued to work, teach and explore for six years, drawing inspiration from the tropical forest.  In 2016 she relocated to Princeton, New Jersey with her family, where she is the resident artist and visiting Fellow at New College West, Princeton University.  She continues to exhibit and teach students of all ages.
